Salt Lamp Benefits...

Salt lamp is an amazing trend these days for our home, office and even in our bags we can keep. The beautiful orange light passes from the salt looks so attractive to eyes and it’s also very much relaxing to see the light.

One of my friend kept Himalayan pink salt lamp on their desk for a whole month in office. The lamp made its way around the office and everyone felt a sense of love and peace when it was their turn to work alongside it.

We’d heard that there were some benefits you could get from using a Himalayan pink salt lamp, which made us wonder if our love of the lamp was the result of the placebo effect and the excitement over having our name drawn, or if there are real benefits. As usual, we wanted to do a little research to find out the truth.


Removes Negative Energy


Salt lamp removes all the negative vibes or energies around the home or your specific room. It absorbs negative energies and starts to melt a little like a seat. Which means there were some negative energies or thoughts in our mind which has cleaned now.





Himalayan Salt Lamps Clean the Air

Salt lamps are often claimed to improve the air quality of your home. More specifically, they are advertised as being beneficial for people with allergies, asthma or diseases that affect respiratory function, such as cystic fibrosis.

However, there is currently no evidence that using a Himalayan salt lamp can remove potential pathogens and improve the air quality of your home.

The claim that they are good for people with respiratory conditions may be partly based on the ancient practice of halo therapy.

In this therapy, people with chronic respiratory conditions are said to benefit from spending time in salt caves due to the presence of salt in the air.

They Can Help You Sleep


Studies have not yet examined the effects of Himalayan salt lamps on sleep.

However, a review of the effects of air ionization on relaxation and sleep didn’t find any evidence of a beneficial effect

Thus, even if salt lamps do affect the air environment, it’s not clear if this would have an effect on sleep patterns.

It’s possible that using the dim light from a Himalayan salt lamp may help promote sleepiness toward the end of the day if you use it to replace bright electric lights.

This is because bright light before bed can delay production of the sleep.

However, this isn’t specific to salt lamps, and the theory hasn’t been tested
